Precisamos começar nossa jornada em Rustboro. Siga as setas nos mapas abaixo:
No final da segunda seta, nós precisamos entrar no buraco. Lá encontraremos o NPC Marcus. Ele nos perguntará a contragosto, de como chegamos aqui:
- Marcus: Hello Player, what brings you here?
- Player: mission
- Marcus: You are not worthy for my mission, so I cannot give you any mission.
- Player: worthy
- Marcus: To show that you are worthy for this mission, you need to...
- Marcus: Defeat 20 Aerodactyl, 30 Omastar, 30 Kabutops, 50 Cradily and 50 Armaldo.
- Marcus: OR bring me 10 Aerodactyl's wing, 30 Aerodactyl's tail and 5 stone plate.
- Marcus: Can you do it?
- Player: yes
Em resultado, nós precisaremos escolher como iremos querer fazer a quest, a primeira maneira é matar 20 Aerodactyls, 30 Omastars, 30 Kabutopses, 50 Cradily e 50 Armaldo, ou entregar 20 Aerodactyl's wing, 30 Aerodactyl's tail e 5 Stone Plate.
Quando finalizarmos as task ou entregar os itens que Marcus precisava, precisamos voltar até ele e falar:
- Marcus: Hello Lord Sqnik, what brings you here?
- Player: mission
- Marcus: You are not worthy for my mission, so I cannot give you any mission.Lord Sqnik [208]: worthy
- Marcus: You already started this test, if you are ready to report it just say so!
- Marcus: You can also say repeat if you forgot what I said before...

- Marcus: Did you defeat enough Pokemon or brought me the items I asked?

- Marcus: Great, please report back to me when you got the fossil.
Agora, então, teremos acesso ao respaw de Rampardos. Uma vez que os Rampardos podem dropar Replic of Skull Fossil. Nós precisamos voltar ao Marcus e entregar a ele para recebermos o real Skull Fossil por ele. Agora seu personagem irá começar a contagem. Você precisa permanecer 24 horas no respaw com o Skull Fossil em sua mochila. Depois desse tempo você recebera do ovo um Cranidos [10].
